welcome to houston . . .
By Lesle | March 19, 2008
Here’s the deal.
Every time I visit some place, I want to move there. It’s weird. Maybe I just crave a variety in my life that I’m not used to getting. It’s a cool notion to daydream about, but my reality is I’m covered by a wave of comfort whenever I return home.
I get giddy when I hear the pilot say, “Welcome to Houston.” Or, when I read the words Houston City Limits.
Houston is definitely home.
I have been contemplating moving closer to my sister in Dallas. But I think this is probably not the time. There are some things that I want to accomplish, and some issues with the kids . . . I’m thinking staying put is the right choice right now. Though, I’m not completely ruling out the possibility of moving in the future.
So, I just got back from Chicago. It was awesome. It was in the low 30s, but clear skies, it was very nice. I had a wonderful visit with friends . . . actually got some scrapbooking in. I’ll definitely have to take the kids for a visit. Of course I thought about moving there, but that would be such a drastic life change, I’m not sure I could handle the climate change. Maybe visiting in the spring is the best choice.
I have pictures to share, but I downloaded them on my new computer and I haven’t quite got it organized yet. So I’ll work on that in the next couple of days. More to follow soon . . .

Glad the trip was good. Hmmm if you want to move somewhere when you visit, should I have you visit me?
