more pool time . . .

Here is the next digi page in my set of three for the kids’ July swim lessons.
I totally started to scraplift this one from Julie Shahin (you might not be able to see the link if you don’t Facebook), but I wound up making it look quite a bit different. Mine’s not as bold, unfortunately . . . but it’s finished, and that pleases me.
I actually decided to use the notebook paper after reading on Patti’s blog about a challenge over on the Gutter Girlz blog.
Anyway, here is Ian’s swimming lessons page.

Yea! I remembered the lesson I learned from Misty Cato on how to erase portions of a layer so the back layer shows through. There’s probably an easier way to state that, but I’m still learning digital terminology as well. LOL Anyhow, my goal was to have sections of the ric-rak overlap the ribbon, even though the ric-rak layer was below the ribbon. Mission accomplished.
Supplies: Jacque Larson - Watercolors, Shabby Princess - Bounce, Melissa Bennett - Teacher’s Pet, Gina Cabrera - Wave Stitching, Font - Repent, Rockwell.
