stuck in austin . . .

I can’t see straight.
I started getting sick in Dallas, woke up Saturday morning with my head full of snot. But a little extra sleep and I was well enough to keep my promise to the kids and head to Austin to see Aunt Linda and Aunt Lolly. Unfortunately, I continued downhill from there. Sunday morning I woke totally messed up in the head.
Lolly let me sleep most of the day, while she took care of the kids. I thought I was good to go at about 7PM . . . but after 30 minutes on the road I realized that was a mistake.
So here we are at a hotel on the outskirts of Austin . . . next door to a Sonic . . . even a mocha java chiller didn’t help. Hopefully I’ll be doing better tomorrow.
It’s time to crash.
