it’s beginning . . .

to look a lot like Christmas.

Well, okay, it’s already been looking like Christmas . . . especially since my neighbors decorated their house with lights and one of those big, blowup snow globes with Santa in his sleigh the first day of November.

But at least the building I work in waited until the weekend following Thanksgiving to put up their decorations.  As did the Starbucks.  These are pictures from my cell phone so they aren’t that great. Sorry.

I love this wreath on the front of the Starbucks kiosk. It’s made with balls of yarn. It’s way cute, I was trying to figure out how to keep the yarn attached to the wreath.  Gonna have to talk to my mom about this one.  She could probably duplicate it no problem.

This is just one of the trees the building decorates with, this one is in the tunnel. The tree in the lobby is gargantuan. They have lots of banners and topiary arrangements on the street level. I’ll have to take a picture of them tomorrow. Maybe I’ll take out my camera so I can get some decent photos. What a novel idea.

And I thought this was pretty cute . . . though I would never in a million years do it myself. A car in the parking garage had reindeer horns. LOL

Seriously, if someone cuts this chick off in traffic, it’s gonna look like she’s shooting them the birdie with both antlers. :rolleyes: This has to be a chick. No man would drive around town with antlers would they? hmmmmm . . .

So, as luck would have it, there is a quaint little shop down in the tunnel this morning selling their wares. I picked up Christmas presents for the mom and mom-in-law, and a little something for a couple people on the board. I love it when they are down there, it makes shopping so convenient.

    WTF! antlers on a car…..only in houston could some one get away with that….

    I think I am tired of CHristmas already :) JUST ONE year I would love to have a nice releaxing couple of weeks before Christmas…YEAH RIGHT! :)

    Okay, first….how JEALOUS am I that you have a Starbucks in the tunnel of your building? Second…LOVE the antlers!! Those crack me up. Third…sooo wish my company would kick it up a notch or seven with the holiday decorations. *sigh*
