ground rules . . .

By Lesle | December 26, 2008

are in order for the Wii.

I had to have a sit down with the kids and explain to them that the floor had to be picked up before playing the Wii, because they are up moving around constantly . . . someone might break an ankle.  Also, there will be no meltdowns.  NO MELTDOWNS I TELL YOU!!!  Day two with the dang thang and they are already wrestling over the controllers and nunchuks and crying about who gets to play what game when.

Oy!

But I think we’ve come to an understanding and an agreement about how things are gonna go . . . or no one will be playing the Wii.  I hope they understand anyway.  LOL  I’m sure I’ll have to be reminding them.

I’m exhausted.  Last night I was so tired.  After I put our dinner away I laid on the floor to snuggle with Emy and didn’t get up until 4 this morning.  A night on the floor is not the best sleeping arrangements . . . so I’m just as tired today as I was yesterday.

So quickly before I hit the sack, on a real bed . . . I went through the pictures from yesterday.  I have a few to share, but this one caught my eye and made me giggle.

Ian got the game he wanted.

We’re having company tomorrow and I have a lot to do to prepare for them so off to bed I go.  I hope I have the energy to wake at a decent hour in the morning.

LOL! I was nagging about the floor thing yesterday. Alana got a Play Station III and Guitar Hero. My life will never be the same.

Ian’s expression is priceless! As for leaving the stuff lying around.. I have no advice we’re going through the same thing here and the sad part is that my girls are much older.
