a little worried . . .

I made oatmeal cookies and peanut butter cookies and fudge.  And I actually mixed the dough for sugar cookies. . . but I never got around to rolling and cutting them out until tonight.  I was a little worried that they wouldn’t turn out after sitting in the coolerador for so long . . . but I promised the kids that we would decorate cookies (totally wanted to make some cookies like Jennifer) and so I went ahead and pulled out the rolling pin.

I baked six to start and let them have a taste.  They thought they were delicious.  But really, what kid could turn down a cookie?  Not many I suspect.

So, the rest are baking and cooling now . . . hopefully I’ll have some pictures to share later.

GPaw snuck (Is that a word?) a cookie and Emy caught him.  She has spent the last few minutes trying to convince him to share.  She’s really acting like a monkey crawling all over him.  He told her he’s gonna have to show her how to properly eat a cookie.  She’s not falling for it.  “GIVE ME THE COOKIE!” she says.  “I NEED THE COOKIE!  I HAVE COOKIE ISSUES!”

Does that remind you of anyone?

    Good luck with the cookies. I tried to leave this comment on your previous post, but it wouldn’t let me for some reason.
