big news at casa de lesle . . .

Emy lost her first tooth!

For our after dinner dessert I bought them ice cream sandwiches. I got me a Häagen-Dazs bar, yum. Anywho, GPaw finished his sandwich before Emy . . . and when she noticed she offered him some of hers, which he happily devoured.

She finished hers off, but decided she still wanted more, so she asked me if she could have a bite of mine. Considering she was so sweet to Grandpa, I told her she could have the rest of mine.

As she’s finishing mine off, she starts howling, “MY LOOSE TOOTH HURTS! IT HURTS MOMMY IT HURTS!”

So I jump up to check it out, see it’s bleeding, I grab a wet paper towel, tug gently, and it came out easily. That’s when Emy went nuts. She started jumping and spinning around, she was woo-hooing, and bleeding, all over the place.

She ran to the bathroom to take a peek.  Still bleeding pretty good.

Then she realized she’s still holding the ice cream.  “I don’t care about this stupid ice cream!”  And throws the rest in the trash.

This is Emy naming off all the people we need to call and inform that she lost her first tooth.  LOL

Before she went sleep she asked about the Tooth Fairy.  “I hope she brings me a balloon.”  FRAK!  A BALLOON?!?!  :duh:  I tell her I don’t know what she’ll bring.

She was excited about the $1 she got, thank goodness.

    You can also Google “tooth fairy dollar”. I used to print these and then scan/copy a regular dollar on the back. Totally cool.

    Of all the junk I have in this house . . . I have no idea where a balloon is, and there was no way I was going out for one.

    way to go Emy, DD lost a tooth last week too, and it made me think that DS should be starting soon, and this just reinforces that.
